|Mary Anderson on the McQuestens of Whitehern, Art Waves #114|
2011 has been named McQuesten Year, largely due to the attention historian and writer Mary Anderson has brought to this family, which was so important to Hamilton's development. Her new book, Tragedy and Triumph, tells the story of Thomas B. McQuesten, the most influential and prominent figure in the family, but also of his sister Ruby, whose life and work made Tom's accomplishments possible.
